Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Draft — under legal review. This text is not yet final.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Collapy — the website at collapy.com, the app at app.collapy.com, the documentation at docs.collapy.com and the Collapy API (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Corp42 s.r.o. (“Collapy”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you may bind it to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization.

2. The Service

Collapy is a collaborative API client. It lets you and your team build, organize and send HTTP requests, share collections and environments with your team (requests and collections update live), keep secret variables encrypted, see the history of executed requests, import collections and OpenAPI specifications, and run test scenarios. Requests sent from the web app are executed by Collapy’s cloud on your behalf; requests sent from the desktop app (when available) go directly from your device.

The Service is under active development and currently offered as a preview. Features, limits and plans may change as it evolves.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
  • Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. One account is for one person; don’t share your sign-in credentials.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and any second factor safe and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@collapy.com without delay if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • If you sign in with Google or GitHub, that provider’s terms also apply to your use of it.

4. Organizations, workspaces and roles

Content in Collapy belongs to organizations and their workspaces. Every account gets a personal organization; you can create or join others. Organization members have roles (owner, admin, editor) that decide what they can see and change.

  • Owners are responsible for their organization: for who they invite, the roles they grant, the plan the organization is on, and for their members’ use of the Service within the organization, including compliance with these Terms.
  • Content shared in an organization is controlled by the organization. If you leave or are removed, content you created there generally stays with the organization.
  • Members may see execution history, including requests other members sent and the responses they received. Don’t put data into a shared workspace that the other members shouldn’t see.

5. Acceptable use

Collapy’s cloud sends requests on your behalf, so its misuse affects us and others. You must not use the Service to:

  • attack, overload or disrupt any system — including denial-of-service attacks, brute-forcing credentials, or flooding endpoints;
  • scan, probe or test systems you are not authorized to test, including port or vulnerability scanning of third-party hosts;
  • reach internal networks, cloud-metadata endpoints or other private resources through our infrastructure (server-side request forgery), or try to get around the protections we put in place against it;
  • send spam or unsolicited messages, or run phishing or fraud;
  • process content that is unlawful, infringes others’ rights, or that you have no right to use;
  • circumvent plan limits, rate limits or access controls, access other customers’ data, or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law allows it;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties as a stand-alone service without our agreement.

We may block requests, throttle usage, or suspend accounts or organizations that break these rules or put the Service or others at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

6. Your content

“Customer content” is everything you or your organization put into the Service: requests, collections, environments, variables, responses, test scenarios and so on. You keep all rights to it.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, process and display customer content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service for you — for example to sync it to your teammates, send the requests you ask us to send, and keep history. We don’t use customer content for any other purpose and don’t sell it.

You are responsible for customer content and for having the right to use it, including any credentials and personal data it contains. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Plans and billing

  • The Free plan costs nothing and comes with the limits shown on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans (Pro, Ultra) are priced per seat per month — billed per member of the organization. Prices on the website are a preview and may change.
  • For now, paid plans and plan changes are arranged through support@collapy.com. When self-service billing launches, payments will be processed by Stripe and the applicable prices, billing cycle and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy.
  • If an organization reaches a plan limit, nothing already stored is deleted to fit, but new additions or cloud executions may be blocked until it upgrades or frees up room. Stored history is a rolling window and the oldest entries are removed automatically.
  • We will give reasonable notice before price changes apply to an existing paid plan.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but during the preview we offer no service-level agreement and no guaranteed uptime. We may need maintenance windows, and we may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you rely on in a paid plan, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.

The Service relies on third parties, including our hosting provider and the APIs you send requests to. We are not responsible for third-party APIs or for their responses.

9. Termination and your data

  • You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, write to support@collapy.com.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Except in urgent cases, we will give notice and, for discontinuation, at least 30 days.
  • A self-service export isn’t available yet. Before or after closing an account, you can request a copy of your data through support and we will provide it in a structured format where technically feasible.
  • After termination we delete account data and content as described in the Privacy Policy, except where we must keep it by law.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by Czech law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. In particular we don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for the requests you send and their effects on the systems you send them to.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Czech law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data that you could reasonably have prevented by keeping your own copies;
  • our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 if you are on the Free plan.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights that consumer-protection law gives you.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes are decided by the courts competent according to our registered office in the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence or your right to sue there; you may also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) for out-of-court resolution.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or launch paid billing. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect; if you don’t agree, you can stop using the Service and close your account before then. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Other terms

If a provision of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn’t a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or sale of our business, with notice to you.

15. Contact
